This recipe for fried tilapia has an amazing dried vegetable sauce. The fried fish is flaky and savory. Additionally it’s very quick and easy to pan fry which is great for family lunch or dinner.

I love this recipe for fried tilapia because this type of fish is so succulent.

It tastes really savory with this vegetable sauce which includes ingredients like vegetable broth, vegetable oil, sour cream, and lemon juice. The seasoning includes dried onion flakes, dried garlic flakes, and salt.

Other seasoning for the vegetable sauce includes dried red pepper flakes, cornstarch, and cumin. Cumin is such a bold and robust flavor with this recipe for fried tilapia. It originated in the Middle East and is now popular around the world.

Ingredients that you will need for this recipe for fried tilapia include 4 skinless boneless (8 oz) tilapia fillets, 2 tbsp vegetable oil, and 3 large eggs. Also 1 cup bread crumbs, 1 cup all purpose flour, 1 tbsp seasoned salt, and 1/2 tbsp lemon pepper.

Lemon pepper seasoning is really tasty in sauces eaten with fried fish. It’s made with black peppercorn and granulated lemon zest. They are mashed together which allows the citrus oil to fuse into the pepper. This particular recipe for fried tilapia with vegetable spice sauce only requires approximately 24 minutes to complete and makes 4 servings.

You need to properly bread the fish before anything else. Then heat some oil in a skillet before cooking the fish for about 10 minutes. You can make the sauce at the same time in a separate pan! See the full and thorough recipe and directions below.
