Fried fish
White fish (8 fillets) | 10-12oz |

Flour | 3/4 cup |
Egg | 1 |
Water | 3.5oz |
Salt and pepper(Optional: garlic powder) | to taste |
Sauce
Okonomi Sauce | 4tbsp |
---|---|
Onion (diced) | 2oz |
Jalapeño pepper (chopped) | 1oz |

What is OKONOMI SAUCE?
Okonomi Sauce is the signature sauce of Otafuku, the top sauce maker in Japan.
Okonomi Sauce has been refined over the years to be the most perfectly suited sauce for traditional Japanese Okonomiyaki.
Instructions
- Season the fish with salt and pepper, then dip in the batter of eggs, flour and water before frying.
* Fry in oil, approx. 170C for 5 mins (adjust according to your preference.) - Put the chopped onions and jalapeño peppers into a bowl and mix with the Okonomi Sauce.
- Pour sauce over the fish and you’re done!

Notes
To reduce the heat of the raw onions, after chopping, rinse in water and then pat dry.
