Turn the usual fried fish into something spectacular with a little beer, Okonomi Sauce and spices!

Ingredients

Fried fish

White fish (8 fillets) 10-12oz
Flour 3/4 cup
Egg 1
Water 3.5oz
Salt and pepper(Optional: garlic powder) to taste

Sauce

Okonomi Sauce 4tbsp
Onion (diced) 2oz
Jalapeño pepper (chopped) 1oz

* Please add any side vegetables you like

Instructions

  1. Season the fish with salt and pepper, then dip in the batter of eggs, flour and water before frying.
    * Fry in oil, approx. 170C for 5 mins (adjust according to your preference.)

  2. Put the chopped onions and jalapeño peppers into a bowl and mix with the Okonomi Sauce.
  3. Pour sauce over the fish and you’re done!

    Notes

    To reduce the heat of the raw onions, after chopping, rinse in water and then pat dry.
