Fried catfish is absolutely succulent and flavorful! That’s because catfish is such a lovely dish. Catfish include a variety of ray finned fish with prominent barrels that resemble whiskers. These fish are commercially important with the other ones being farmed as a commodity.

Farmed catfish are the best for breaded catfish recipes because they have a unique flavor. They are sweet, mild, and moist with firm flesh that is less flakey than other whitefish. All you need to make fried catfish is 4 (6 oz) catfish fillets, 2 tbsp vegetable oil, and 3 large eggs

Also 1 cup bread crumbs, 1 cup all purpose flour, 1 tbsp salt, 1/2 tbsp pepper, and 1/2 tbsp crushed black peppercorn. Ingredients for the caribbean jerk sauce recipe include 1.5s cup chicken broth, 2 tbsp butter, 2 tbsp lemon juice, and 1 tbsp lime juice.

This Jamaican style dish is full of flavors!

Seasonings for the sauce include 3/4 tbsp dried thyme leaves, 1/2 tbsp dried coriander spice, 1/2 tbsp allspice, and 1/2 tbsp salt. You also want to add 1 tbsp cornstarch, 2 tbsp brown sugar, 1 tsp liquid smoke, and 1/2 tbsp paprika!

Caribbean jerk sauce recipe is so spicy and full of wonderful flavors. Jerk seasoning and sauces originated in Jamaica it has a spicy smokey flavor. It’s absolutely delicious with fried catfish. I adore the allspice seasoning.

Allspice is perfect for breaded catfish recipes because it’s unique and zesty. This seasoning is also native to Jamaica, it’s even referred to as Jamaican pepper!
