Sauce
Mushrooms (sliced) | 1.5oz |

Red wine | 1/2tbsp |
Okonomi Sauce | 6tbsp |
Parsley | to taste |

What is OKONOMI SAUCE?
Okonomi Sauce is the signature sauce of Otafuku, the top sauce maker in Japan.
Okonomi Sauce has been refined over the years to be the most perfectly suited sauce for traditional Japanese Okonomiyaki.
Instructions
- Mix together ground beef and diced onions. Add in salt and pepper to taste.
Shape the ground beef into patties and fry in a well-oiled frying pan. (Cook both sides thoroughly over medium heat)
- Remove the hamburger patties from the pan and set aside. Add the mushrooms and sliced onions to the pan and fry on medium. (Be careful not to burn your veggies!)
- When cooked, add the Okonomi sauce and red wine and simmer.
- Pour the red wine sauce and vegetables over the hamburger steaks and serve. (Optional: sprinkle with parsley.)

Notes
When shaping the hamburger patties, make them rather thin (approx. 1/2” thick) and make a slight indent the center so that they lay flat after cooking.
