You will adore this Korean sauce for fried fish because of the engaging flavor combinations. For example the crushed peppercorns are lovely. Peppercorn is the fruit that comes from the flowering pepper plant. This spice plant is native to South India and used all over the world.

Other ingredients for the sauce include: 1 cup beef broth, 1/4 cup orange juice and
2 tbsp butter. Also 1 tbsp ginger paste,
2 tbsp brown sugar, and 2 tbsp red chili pepper. I also use 1 tbsp sesame seeds,
1/2 tbsp salt, and 2 tbsp dried gochugaru chili flakes.

You will love the flavor in this sauce for fried fish!

The gochugaru chili flakes are absolutely delicious with these fried tuna steaks. This Korean seasoning is made from seedless sun dried peppers. Gochugaru is also called Korean hot pepper flakes and Korean chili powder. It is absolutely essential in Korean regions!

That is because Gochugaru chili flakes are used in recipes like Gochujang, stews, soups, Kimchi, and the famous cucumber salad. Additionally it’s absolutely delicious in this particular sauce for fried fish. Other ingredients for the fish dish include: 4 boneless and skinless (10 oz) tuna steak fillets.

You will also need 4 cups vegetable oil for frying, 3 large eggs, 1 cup bread crumbs, and 1 cup all purpose flour. I also add 1 tbsp cornstarch, 1 tbsp salt, 1/2 tbsp pepper, and 1 tbsp red chili flakes into the dry breading mixture for the fried tuna steaks.

Tuna is a salt water fish related to the Mackerel. They come in a wide variety of sizes for example the Atlantic blue fin can weight up to 684 kg (1,508 lbs)! It’s one of my favorite fish to eat because it’s meaty and tender. Check out this fried tuna steaks with sauce for fried fish recipe below!
